Privacy Policy
This privacy policy describes how DayDent collects, uses, and shares personal information.
Last updated: September 5, 2026
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide when creating and using your DayDent account. This may include your name, email address, phone number, account type (clinic or professional), and profile details such as role, skills, languages, availability, minimum rate, travel radius and location. Professionals may upload resumes, credentials, registration numbers, and a profile photo. Clinics may provide practice name, street address, map location, practice management software, parking details and contact details. If you sign in with Google, we receive basic account information from Google — your name, email address and profile image — to create and authenticate your account. We never receive your Google password.
We also collect activity generated as you use the platform: shift postings, applications, invitations, bookings, connection fees you pay, in-app messages, favourites you save, ratings you give and receive, completion and cancellation history, reliability flags you raise or receive and any written dispute you submit, notifications, and support inquiries.
2. How we use information
We use your information to operate the DayDent platform: matching clinics with available professionals, displaying relevant shifts and profiles, processing connection fees, sending notifications, and providing customer support.
We may also use information to improve the platform, monitor for fraud or abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
3. What is visible to other users
Signed-in DayDent members can see a clinic's practice name, neighbourhood, street address and map location, practice software, parking, rating and completion rate. A clinic's phone number and contact email are shared only after a booking is confirmed.
Before a clinic pays the connection fee for a shift, it sees only evaluation information about an applicant: profile photo, role, years of experience, rating, completion rate, software match and a partially masked name. Full name, phone number, email address and resume are released to the clinic once that fee is paid.
Ratings, completion rate, total completed shifts and reliability badge are shown on profiles to other signed-in members. The details of individual reliability flags — who raised them, what was alleged and any dispute you wrote — are not shown to other users. They are visible only to you, to the other party to that flag, and to authorized DayDent administrators. Messages between connected participants are visible only to those participants and to authorized DayDent administrators for dispute review and abuse investigation.
4. Payment information
DayDent does not store full credit card numbers or bank account details. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, subject to Stripe's privacy policy and security practices. We retain records of transactions, connection and rebooking fees, refunds, and payment status to operate the platform and respond to billing inquiries.
5. Data retention
We keep your account and activity information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations. Confirmed reliability points stop counting toward your account standing 12 months after they are confirmed, though the underlying record may be retained longer for dispute and abuse-prevention purposes.
When you delete your account or remove content such as a resume, we remove or anonymize that data in accordance with our deletion procedures, except where retention is required by law or necessary for legitimate business purposes such as billing records and dispute resolution.
6. Third-party processors
We rely on third-party service providers to operate DayDent. These include Stripe for payment processing, Supabase for database and authentication services, Google as an optional sign-in provider, our map and geocoding provider, and hosting providers. We do not sell your personal information.
7. Your rights and choices
You may access, update, or delete certain information through your profile settings. To request deletion of your account or specific personal data, or to exercise any other privacy right, contact us using the information below.
We will respond to reasonable requests in accordance with applicable law. Some information may be retained where necessary for legal, security, or operational reasons — including reliability and billing records.
